The Staff were amazing I couldnt say enough about them, they were amazing. We ran into a spot of trouble with our rental car and they helped us resolve the issue. They have really good english which was helpful as our french isnt great. The staff informed us of the festival that was going on in the main square and where there were nice restaurants etc The rooms are lovely and confortable. with big beds and bathrooms. There are loads of lovely old furniture items dotted around the hotel that really adds to there charm I would defo recommend it!
The location, staff and hotel were all exceptional. Hotel deep in the old town, but found it no problem using detailed Google maps. Best advised to book parking if travelling there by car.
Family room was huge! Staff super friendly and very helpful. Location was outstanding for exploring Arles by foot. Super central on a charming square. Oh and don't forget the pool, which was a hit with the kids
Cannot fault this place.
The apartment was a good size for a family of four. It was clean and tidy with all new furniture and fittings. Given that the building itself was hundreds of years old it was quite suprising to find the inside so fresh and contemporary. A great place to stay for a night or two but I wouldn't want to stay in Tarquinia more than a night as there is very little to see. We used this as as stopover place before heading onwards to Civitavecchia.
I have absolutely now complaints about the hotel, it was lovely. Having arrived by train our only concern was reaching the hotel. There were no taxis or buses and thankfully the owner came down to the train station and brought us to and from the hotel. This was most appreciated.
Excellent (although at 10 euros, perhaps a tad expensive) breakfast and excellent service. The reception staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is superb for visiting all of Arles' main tourist attractions on foot and for chilling-out. We had rooms at the rear of the hotel which were very comfortable and quiet. There is air-conditioning but we didn't need it at this time of year (end March). Will certainly go there again (particularly if we can get an equally good value deal).
hotel in great location, after negotiation narrow streets to hotel.limited car parking at hotel .adequet free parking 5 mins from hotel. basic old style hotel .
Excellent and quiet location very close to all city attractions. The room for 4 + 1 infant was spacious and very quiet. The hotel is old fashioned but comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful.
Please write at least 15 words Very good breakfast with a lot of choice of both hot and cold fair, there was private parking which was necessary situated as it was amongst very narrow streets, within easy walking distance of the arena and the amazing Saturday open-air market.
We chose the hotel over the internet based on the price, its location, and its appearance. We wanted to stay in an older hotel with a decor, history and character representative of Southern France. And, we wanted it to be conveniently located within the walls of the old city. We got that, and more. Our airy, bright room was decorated to say Provence, there were pieces of antique furniture in our room and in other parts of the hotel, and the pool was enclosed by ancient ,vine covered walls. Most importantly, the staff were just wonderful! Everyone seemed to enjoy being happy and helpful, they took the time to make sure any questions or concerns we had were patiently addressed with a smile. It was very nice to come in at night and discuss our day with the front desk staff and then get some useful suggestions about our plans for the next day.
Nothing of significance, the hair dryer needed some TLC...a minor inconvenience.
it had a great view, very big rooms for France.
it has a real problem with the parking and the acces at the hotel, it was very difficult to arrive at the hotel, very narrow streets, such a labyrinth. The hotel didn't give us much informations how to arrive.
- Excellent position, in the very center of the town (but if you travel by car you may have some problems in getting there, as Arles is a maze of tiny streets!); - Comfortable, clean rooms; - Enjoy the swimming pool!
Superb location with everything you want to see within walking distance. This is a family run hotel and the owner even parks your car for you. Hundred percent service.
Can't find any fault with this hotel and will return to stay as soon as possible.
The hotel was amazing. The rooms were spacious, the staff was extra accommodating, the breakfast buffet was well worth the 10 euros, the staff made a great recommendation for dinner and we were very happy and pleased with our stay at Hotel Du Forum.
Located within easy access to historical sites & restaurants, the hotel is clean, comfortable & staffed by friendly, helpful & competent people. Recommend.
Great location in the centre of Arles close to all the restaurants and sites of interest. Also a 10-15 min walk to the train station, along the river which was really nice! Friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable. Nice room on the third floor looking out lovely vines and buildings and a church. The hotel also some history to it, with a nice billiards room and some great photos on the walls..definitely worth recommending!
The only thing which bothered us was that the room had a newly painted smell which did feel suffocating if one didnt open the windows. Also the fridge kept making noise in the night which we had to stuff away in the cupboard. Otherwise our stay was very nice
